Exams at IIT described in funny style !

Hello everyone,
I've finished my final exams at IIT and I would like to share the experience while I was reading for exams and writing them. I'll be sharing the experience in funny way using funny exam quotes but they reveal the truth/facts. The experience was quite amazing and after writing exams I thought, "When reviewing your notes before an exam, the most important will be illegible or hidden somewhere at the corner of a page."

I start sharing experience with my first open book exam, where you don't read books only scan them so that searching is faster in exam and expect to read them in exam ;) and when I saw the paper I thought even open google can't help to answer questions correctly !. And then one of my friend told me, this open book exam and I forgot my book !. Amazing isn't it, if you are given open book exam you forget your book(s) or the topic/problem isn't present in the book you brought to write exam.

Also, we have normal final exams, that is closed book (where we read textbooks, notes) and apply it in exam, but somehow after seeing question paper I forget what is that I read, in short we call it as blackout !!

Also, some of you might be knowing that assignments are given at regular pace at IIT to do in hostel/home and some assignments combine together carry more than 80% of total  marks ! I was given something like this and I forgot where do i live ! It is like, If you are given a take home exam (same as assignments), you will forget where you live. There is one more interesting fact when lecturer gives assignment at IIT, Every instructor/lecturer assumes that you have nothing else (other courses assignments) to do except study for that instructor’s course.

Also, let me tell you one more interesting fact while I was in exam hall seeing question paper I felt, 80% of the final exam will be based on the one lecture you missed and the one book you didn’t read. And then after trying hard I could see that I've found the question which is somewhat similar to what I read, but The more studying I did for the exam, the less sure I was as to which answer they want me to write, as it is IIT !

The best part comes now, I was having exam for one subject and I got a email from other subject lecturer saying you have to complete assignment by today ! I felt like, The night before the English end term paper, my biology instructor gave 200 pages assignment to work on.

Some of my friends, after writing exams, thought "Colleges are like old-age homes, except for the fact that more people die in colleges."

And at last, after writing last exam and completing assignments we got holidays, and I thought to take them professionally. That is, My holidays starts from today, and I'd like to take it up professionally. :D


And then after few days we will encounter the results ! I can say only one thing to those of you who received honors, awards and distinctions, I say congrats. And to the students who got C grade, I say you too may become  president of our country, someday. And to the students who got F grade, I would say better luck next time !
